ANNEXATION
Annexation is how the Town of Reidville, or any city or town, extends and increases its corporate limits. Individual property owners or subdivisions may petition for annexation if they are contiguous, or adjacent to, the boundaries of the Town of Reidville.

Your parcel or your subdivision would need to be contiguous to (or touching) the boundary of the Town of Reidville. You can find out if you are contiguous by searching on Spartanburg County GIS or by contacting us. To request annexation, contact the Town Administrator, Christine McKaba at admin@townofreidvillesc.com or 864-486-9614 and she will guide you through the process.

To find out more about the rules and regulations set for by the State of South Carolina on annexation, you can read the Annexation Handbook provided by the Municipal Association of South Carolina. annexation_handbook.pdf
